  My sister-in-law was recently hired at Trillium Creek. She applied for the position they had open as a receptionist. She soon found out after being offered the job that she was pregnant so she informed them immediately. The gentleman who hired her said that he could not retract his job offer to her and pushed her to do the medical assisting side instead of the receptionist position knowing that she had no medical education background. The gentleman allowed her to get through the training phase for the medical assistant position (because apparently he couldn't fire her during training) and then proceeded to tell her that she was dumb and that she withheld information because she is deaf in one ear and was pregnant. My sister in law asked some of the other females around and the ones that had previously been pregnant said they were treated terribly by this gentleman as well and one even went as far to say that this particular gentleman told her that had she not lost her baby during her pregnancy, that she would have been fired. Needless to say I am very upset with this whole situation because she is a great, hardworking woman who was just trying to find a steady job.
